Customized Group Training

The D. Samuel Gottesman Library now offers customized training by our experienced reference librarians in searching various databases and the World Wide Web. Classes are available for residents, faculty, and staff and may be customized for topics needed. Training is conducted in the Library's training room, Forchheimer 135N, equipped with 12 PCs for hands-on learning. Short demo sessions or longer classes which include hands-on practice time can be arranged. • searching ALBERT, the Library's online catalog for books and journals
• Medline, Evidence-Based Medicine, and other databases on the AECOM network
• PubMed and other databases from the National Library of Medicine
• Current Contents
• SPIN (grants information database)
• Biomedical & scientific resources on the World Wide Web, including the AECOM Library home page and online journals.
